We have recently upgraded our weather station and it now can be accessed by all.

Skylark Aerial Photography Weather Station is based near Kendal at a height of 580ft AMSL

The station provides valuable weather data for anyone wishing to operate a drone in the South Lakes Area.

The station uses the Davis Vantage Vue and has proved very reliable and accurate.

Davis Vantage Vue is a state-of-the-art weather station that provides local, real-time weather data.

The data is sent from the sensor suite wirelessly to the console, which provides historical graphs and forecasting capabilities.

Davis Vantage Vue Integrated Sensor Set or ISS, with wireless retransmission. The ISS records real-time data for the pursuit variables:

• Temperature
• Humidity
• Precipitation
• Wind speed
• Wind direction
